Porkins Policy Radio episode 51 A Very Heavy Agenda Part 3 with Robbie Martin

We are joined once again by our good friend Robbie Martin to discuss the final part of the film trilogy “A Very Heavy Agenda.” Robbie and I begin by discussing the film series as a whole, and its overarching themes. We then move on to how the neocons operate within the larger deep-state apparatus, touching on how the neocons are able to influence and control the foreign policy agenda through the use of only a handful of experts and policy makers.

Later we explore the role of “hipster propaganda” by looking at the increasingly influential role of Vice Magazine in indoctrinating young people into the neocon mindset. Robbie and I talk about the early days of Vice, and the lasting effect Gavin McInnes has had on the culture and political ideologies the news outlet spreads. We talk about Vice’s bizarre approach to politics: making the president look hip and cool, spreading anti-Russian hatred, and spreading neoliberal and neocon talking points to young people.

Next we move on to the current state of affairs within the neoconservative movement. Robbie and I discuss our views on the neocon influence within the Obama administration. We explore the idea that Obama may have tried to curb some the more psychotic foreign policies decisions put forth by those like Bob Kagan. I relate my pet theory that Obama was attempting to help the CIA by ridding them of some Bush era cronies. We finish off the conversation with a look at the 2016 election. We discuss how the neocons’ racist rhetoric is very much to blame for the rise of Donald Trump, and how Trump is very much an unexpected creation of the neocon agenda, even though he disagrees with them on several keys issues. We also talk about the the latest re-branding efforts which have led the neocons to embrace Hillary Clinton.

After the podcast I answer my first every Patreon subscriber question, and thank everyone who donated this month. I also talk about my new radio show due to start this Tuesday, from 4-6pm EST on American Freedom Radio.

Great show, guys! Really insightful with a lot of new information. I especially appreciated the analysis of Vice. I haven’t heard that anywhere.

As to what is the neocon’s overarching purpose, you both said something like power and ensuring america remains the global hegemon. Clearly neither of you know anything about Oded Yinon, Clean Break and the 1979 Jerusalem Global War on Terrorism conference.

Robbie, how can you be such an expert on the neocons and not tie them in with their total origin and roots – the Yinon plan?!?!?

You should actually watch Robbie’s film. He devotes an entire section of part 3 to the influence of Israel. He also mentions how prominent neocons like Fukuyama broke ranks with his neocon brethren because of hardline Israeli policies.

I think Israelis and supporters of Israel do have a vested interest in the neocon agenda. There is no doubt that many neocons are also ardent supporters of Israel, but I don’t buy the notion that this is all about Israel. Oder Yinon is a very important document but there is nothing in t that wasn’t already out there. It’s not as if the Israelis invented the idea of craving up and controlling the Middle East. People put too much stock into the Israeli angle for me. I don’t think that the whole goal of the neocons is a strong and omnipotent Israel.

It’s more like you prefer to look at the whole picture, which is good. But some just are horrified by what the IDF does to people who at some point were pretty secular and wanted peace, and the bastards encourage and secretly fund Hamas. Israel is why I had to be fearmongered about the ghastly prospect of a war with Iran for more than a decade and was so bad on my mind that it actually started to come out as physical issues. So congratulations on having even stronger will than me, I thought I had a will of iron but at some point I broke and got into opiates to just feel the rush of pleasure and ignoring the outside world.

And of course Israel is happy that it does that to me, as they and NATO move huge quantities of heroin (which lately, if you look at the news, cut with fentanyl, a useful opioid for chronic pain patients and people with cancer who suffer immensely, but it’s not a recreational opiate, there is nod…just falling asleep, and that’s with a huge tolerance. All those reports of heroin laced with fentanyl in the US and people dropping like flies is literally eugenics into play, the sick fucks just feed on human misery. I’ve never seen heroin but what i was playing with, a legal pharmaceutical, was in the same league and pretty safe, it’s when you’re out of it and out of money that you feel like death. What’s worse is that it’s not day 1 or 2 or even 3 that are the worst when going cold turkey, it’s day 4-10, after that you’re out, but you will have suffered in ways you thought were impossible and nobody is hitting you in the face with an icepick.

Sorry for the long winded commentary, but that’s a real example of what can happen to one researcher that doesn’t back off and get sucked in. You and Tom have talked about this in the interview about Gary Devore on Opperman’s Report.

VICE have one good person in there, and he basically caused Emailgate, Jason Leopold. Hell, he was called a “FOIA Terrorist” in official government papers.

    • porkinspolicyreview  On July 19, 2016 at 12:44 am

Jason Leopold is ok. I find he just recycles a lot of stuff especially when it comes to his “revelations” about the CIA and Hollywood. I wonder if he wasn’t chosen as the go to guy to give FOIA requests to. Not that he is some sort of agent, but unwitting participant.

      • Bob  On July 19, 2016 at 11:38 am

I’m not familiar with everything he does, but when Peter B. interviews him, I almost always learn something. But I do feel that he only wants to present what he’s FOIA’d, he doesn’t say where he stands very much.

      • Cat McGuire  On July 19, 2016 at 11:47 am

I agree about Leopold. Overall I like his work, but Peter B’s interview with him about San Bernardino was really lacking. It’s like, rather than really dig around, Leopold was like there’s no information there to be gotten. Uh, isn’t that what an investigative journalist is supposed to do? It’s like he found it easier to go with the official story. I felt he really dropped the ball on san bernardino, a false flag that desperately needed some looking at.

      • Grant  On August 2, 2016 at 11:41 am

From what I’ve read and heard of him, he doesn’t specialize in the CIA and Hollywood, which is your thing and you and Tom do well. Leopold mostly FOIA’s regarding war, gitmo, politicians, prisoners etc.

    • ThrashMetalisTheBestMetal  On August 4, 2016 at 10:17 am

Didn’t he come from thruthout ? I remember reading him there before he was hired by VICE and he was already doing FOIA’s by the truckload then. I’d say he’s the odd man out at Vice. He’s been an investigative journalist/activist when Republicans and Democrats held the White House, so he’s not like Sy Hersh let’s say, who, yes, revealed some very important thing, I would say his original article back in the 70’s that not only the FBI was being unlawful but also the CIA had been spying on Americans, but he’s awfully quiet when the Democrat Parties neoliberals are causing havoc.

I don’t think he’s got a special status where VICE has an agreement with the government to allow most of his FOIA dumps to leak out like that, he has to hire lawyers who specialize in FOIA’s, it’s probably costing him money personally at times. Especially emailgate, which should have terminated Hillary Clinton. The thought of that cross-eyed insane cold bitch with brain damage (anybody forgot that she had a brain aneurysm? Sure she got the best treatment possible by the best doctors in the USSA, but she’s certainly lost IQ points there. Otherwise, I agree with Robbie and his extremely valuable info. It’s just strange how Leopold was hired by these guys, because he is certainly not a neocon.

The fact he doesn’t talk about CIA and Hollywood is irrelevant. He brings up a lot of info more people should know in other subjects.

Indeed, when there is actually a picture of the 3 guys floating around.
