Friend of the show Hugo Turner joined me this week to discuss Elliot Abrams and his legacy in Central America and role in the Iran-Contra affair. We began by discussing the roots of Iran-Contra and why it is still largely ignored by the media. Hugo discussed the origins of the affair going all the way back to the October Surprise in 1980. We talked about the other events that opened the door into Iran-Contra including the attempted assassination of Contra leader Eden Pastora in Costa Rica. Hugo and I then explored Abrams role in Iran-Contra itself. We also discussed Abrams role in covering up war crimes in El Salvador like the El Motoze massacre. Later Hugo and I talked about the genocide in Guatemala which Abrams helped facilitate. We also discussed the complex web of people and groups involved in drug trafficking, terrorism, death squads, and the suppression of the poor. We closed out the conversation by looking at the parallels between the 1980’s and the current political environment. We used the current situations in Venezuela and Haiti as examples.
In the first hour Abby and Robbie Martin for an end of the year special. We kick things off by talking about our overall impressions of 2018. Abby and Robbie touched on the stories and narratives that were most important during this tumultuous year. We then moved into the realm of geopolitics and some of the biggest events which took place in 2018. We talked about the war in Yemen and the continued violence against the Palestinians. We discussed the lack of media coverage on foreign affairs this year, and how Trump has ceded power to the neocon movement when it comes to geopolitics. We touched on figures like John Bolton and what may be in store for America in the coming year. Later Abby talked about the sanctions against Venezuela which led to The Empire Files being shut down. We round out the hour by talking about some of the positive things in 2018 including David Seaman having to close down his news outlet.
In the second hour JG Michael of Parallax View joins me to continue our end of the year special. We focused more on the culture war of 2018. We looked at the right-wing movement and the casualties it sustained this year. JG talks about Gavin McInnes and his recent appearance on InfoWars. We talked about the idea that many of these alt-lite figures are actually fading away. We discussed Ross Douthat’s repulsive article Why we miss the WASPs and the rehabilitation of war criminals like George HW Bush and Dick Cheney. JP and I explored what this means for America going forward. We round out the conversation by again looking at some positives like the momentum of figures like Ocasio-Cortez and others. I also brought up the strange revelation that white supremacist Jean Francois Griepy took $25,000 from Jeffrey Epstein in 2014.
Aaron Franz of TheAgeofTransistions.com joins us for the first hour. We begin by talking about Aaron’s new live version of Trans Resister Radio and Uncle the podcast. Aaron and I then discuss the topic of the imagined dividing line between the real and the fantastic, the objective and the subjective. We talk about how reality and fantasy have begun to blur increasingly over the past several years. Using Elon Musk as an example we discuss how Musk’s increasingly bizarre pronouncements illustrate this concept. We also touch on statements made by leading scientists that claim we are living in a computer simulation. Aaron and I talk about the deeper occult meaning behind this as well. We also talk about the idea of fake news and how this fits into this paradigm. Later Aaron and I look at a recent study by UCLA which claims that memories are really genetic. We talk about a recent experiment which claimed that memories could be implanted within sea slugs. Aaron and I discuss the dangers of this, including the idea of erasing bad memories from ones mind.
In the second hour I go it alone. I start by talking about the amazing Dingle Record Shop and it’s proprietor Mazz O’Flaherty. I then go on an extended rant about how much I despise the endless news cycle of death and trauma. I focus mainly on the recent massacre in Gaza and my disgust at the way many people seem to be celebrating this. I also talk about the idiocy of reneging on the Iran deal and how this is most likely being orchestrated by the neocons. Later I touch on how everything seems to be reverting back to the Bush years, or possibly even worse. I also talk about how this has effected me on a personal level.
This week I am joined by Yuval Laor of the Open Minds Foundation, and one of my co-hosts for Open Minds On Air. We discuss the neoconservative movement, the exploitation of trauma, and Israel. Yuval and I start off the conversation with the breaking news that Donald Trump has decided to pull the US out the Iran Nuclear Deal. We talk about what this means for America and the prospect of war with Iran. Yuval gives us his perspective of this as an Israeli-American, and how the public within Israel is reacting to the news. Yuval and I then shift into the neocons who are obviously happy with Trump’s latest pronouncement. We look at their belief system and the psychology of the movement by using Israel as a template. Yuval talks about the continual use and exploitation of the holocaust and the trauma of it with in Israel. He discusses how this has manipulated Israeli society on a psychological level to the point where they view the Holocaust as constantly being right around the corner. We talk about the way that the Israeli state continually traumatizes its youth with regards to the Holocaust. Yuval and I then break down how this is the same method by which the neocons have sought to manipulate people here in the United States.
Later Yuval and I talk about the power of awe and fervor. Again using Israel as an example we talk about “Jerusalem Syndrome” and how it works on people who are not even religious. Yuval talks about John Kerry’s awe moment at Masada as well. We then shift into high fervor people and their inability to view the world outside of a good vs. evil black and white mentality. Yuval explains how the neocons have psychologically fallen into this mindset, and the ways in which it has effected their views on foreign policy. We also address whether neoconservationism is a cult group or a secret society. We also touch on Trump’s psychology and why he is so susceptible to manipulation, particularly by the neocons. Yuval also discusses the concept of a thought-terminating cliché. Yuval then closes out the episode with a very appropriate joke.
Chuck interrupts both of his guests a bit more than usual on this episode. So it looks like being busy producing himself , has not made him shut up any more than anything else. Good thing ? Bad Thing , You Decide…

Robbie Martin joins us for an in-depth look into the most recent saber rattling between the US and North Korea. We start off by talking about the general hysterical political rhetoric that we see here in the US. Robbie and I touch on the size of Trump’s nuclear button as an example. Next Robbie and I explore the strange stories that emerged just before the new year talking about North Korea’s anthrax weapon program. Robbie and I talk about the Ashai Shimbun article that kick started the bogus story, as well as the multiple reports of a North Korean defector with anthrax antibodies in his system. Robbie talks about the problems with this narrative and its similarities to the 2001 Anthrax Attacks. We also look into the science behind these claims and debunk the notion that you can even house anthrax in an ICBM. Later Robbie and I talk about the anti-war movements continued decay, and the lack of voices speaking out against the threat of war in North Korea. Robbie talks about the difficulties in defending the North Korean people. We talk about the ways in which they have become so demonized that most average people could care less if they were murdered by the US military.
In the second hour Robbie discusses his work looking into the 2001 Anthrax Attacks. We discuss how they have fallen off as a topic of discussion and research. Robbie talks about the widespread use of Cipro during this time, and the dangers of using antibiotics unless you are truly sick. We also talk about whistleblower Matt DeHart and his connection to the anthrax investigation. Later Robbie and I dive head first into the latest iteration of Pizzagate by looking into “Qanon”. We discuss what the QAnon story is, its origins, and how it is just the latest example of controlled opposition. The two of us explain why this should not be taken seriously, and look into the sad state that the MAGA movement finds themselves in.

The wait is over! Christoph and I are back for another jam packed episode of Porkins Great Game. We begin by discussing the new direction that we will be taking the show in. Christoph and I explain why we will be focusing less on Central Asia and the Caucuses, and more on the the “global rimland.” We then move onto a discussion of the influential book The Unquiet Frontier by A Wess Mitchell and Jakub Grygiel. We talk about who Mitchell and Gryiel are, their careers at the Center for European Policy Analysis, and their current positions with in the State Department. Christoph and I then explore what is actually in The Unquiet Frontier and why it is such an important book. We talk about their theory of the global rimland and the policies that Mitchell and Gryiel lay out for the US empire. Next we talk about how these polices are quite identical to Trump’s foreign policy. We also touch on Trump’s recent foreign policy speech which appears to have been heavily influenced by The Unquiet Frontier.
Next Christoph and I talk about the recent political developments in Ukraine. We focus specifically on the recent assassination of Chechen fighter Timur Makhauri in Kiev. We talk about who Makhauri was and his complex history with Georgia and their security services. Christoph talks about the chaos that Ukraine has been plunged into since the US backed revolution. The two of us discuss how Kiev has been turned into a hot bed for Chechen terrorists, hitman, and all sorts of unsavory characters. Christoph also gives us his perspective as to what might be in store for Katharine in the near future.
We finish of the episode by turning to our favorite former Georgian Prime Minister Mikheil Saakashvilli, and his recent troubles in his adoptive home of Odessa. We chronicle Saakashvilli’s rise and fall as governor of the Odessa Oblast. We focus on his bombastic nature and his clashes with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko. Chistoph and I then move onto Saakashvilli’s insane arrest in Kiev, his escape from a police van, and his eventual re-arrest. We talk about what this means for Saakashvilli in the near future, and how his fate is identical to every other authoritarian leader who has aligned themselves with the US.
On a Tuesday where North Korea launches another alleged Cyber-attack , Train wrecks beyond the White House are actually happening , and Trump wants a letter from the Special Prosecutor saying he has done nothing wrong , we attempt to unmask the method behind the madness that appears to be the newest normal in American Foreign Policy. The Author of The War State , and the host of a truly unique information radio show seem to be our best guides. So we enter the magical land of , Trump Foreign Policy MAGA
Mike Swanson joins us on a Tuesday night to really examine the Trump Foreign Policy attitude http://wallstreetwindow.com/node/13965 with his article at https://wallstreetwindow.com in hand Michael attempts to make sense of what is being said , and asks interesting questions about the unspoken portions that may only become obvious to all at a later date. Mike’s unique and solid analysis is as always welcome. In the second hour dealing with Trump Foreign Policy MAGA Pearse Redmond of Porkins Policy Radio joins us to take the conversation even further with hints at the actual origin of the ideas represented.
In the first hour I am joined by JP Sottile of News Vandal for an in-depth conversation on the growing scandal involving Donald Trump Jr. We begin by touching on the latest person to have been in the infamous meeting, Ike Kaveladze, and his connection to a 2000 Congressional investigation into Russian money laundering operations. JP and I go beyond the headlines and try to decipher what this meeting might have actually been about. We offer up a more straight forward narrative that this was a meeting about corruption and payoffs. The two of us discuss the attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya’s links to Russian oligarchs and to a recent money laundering case that was recently settled in her clients favor, and how the specter of Donald Trump loomed in the background. JP and I also look back to the 1990’s and a similar scandal involving the Clinton’s and the Chinese government. Later JP and I discuss the horrifying proposal by Jared Kushner and Steve Bannon have to privatize the war in Afghanistan. JP tells us about the two men who will help lead this charge, Erik Prince of Black Water, and Stephen Feinberg of Cerberus Capital which owns DynCorp. We talk about their nightmare vision for the complete privatization of warfare and nation building. JP discusses how this is actually the natural progression of the American economic and political system, and how Donald Trump is the natural man to usher this in.
In the second hour Robbie Martin joins me as we flesh out some of the topics brought up by JP and myself. We start by taking a step back and looking at how both the mainstream and alternative media have used this recent scandal to their benefit. Robbie and I address the claims made by morons like Cernovich that this is all a deep state operation. We also explore the forgotten story of the seizure of two Russian spy facilities and the expulsion of 35 Russian diplomats (spies) by the Obama administration in December 2016. Robbie and I discuss how this story has been nearly forgotten by the media yet it represents an extremely important moment in both the Obama and Trump presidencies. The two of us talk about how the facilities have yet to be turned back to the Russian’s despite their pleas with Trump. Robbie and I explore how serious an action this is and how Trump has been put into a very difficult spot by all of this. Robbie also gives us the latest updates on the ever evolving neoconservative movement. We discuss the closing down of the neocon think tank The Foreign Policy Initiative and where the movement may be headed.
