Porkins Policy Radio episode 188 Editorial Report: Journalistic integrity and why racists are not welcome here

This week I addressed some editorial issues regarding the radio show and the types of guests I will not support or promote. I talked about the backlash I received for calling Ryan Dawson a “racist grifter” and why I continue to stand by that statement. I discussed my own journalistic integrity and why I will not allow myself to be tainted by right-wingers simply because they do “good research.”

In the second hour, I took a call from Dimitri who questioned my decision to have Lucien Greaves on the show and take much of what he was saying at face value. We talked about Greave’s’ problematic past which I, admittedly, did not research before when I had him on. I talked about my own reservations now about having him back on, and how this is an inevitable problem when it comes to radio journalism. Later we talked about another controversial figure that people ask me about Dr. Joylln West, whom Jon Atack knew and has talked about on the show before. I talked about the theories regarding West and the Oklahoma City Bombing and how much of that story doesn’t hold up. Chuck helps me finish off the show by talking about the problems that we face as journalists and radio hosts.

Porkins Policy Radio episode 187 Jon Gold and Adam Fitzgerald on 9/11 lawsuit and FBI FOIA

This week Jon Gold joined me once again to talk about two recent 9/11 related news stories and the varying degrees of attention they have received in the media. We started off by discussing the recent developments in the 9/11 Victims and Families lawsuit against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Jon and I discussed their latest attempts to force the FBI to reveal the name of a high ranking Saudi government official who was overseeing two Saudi operatives in the United States who provided material support to at least two of the hijackers. We talked about these operatives, Fahad al-Thumairy and Omar al Bayoumi, and their role in helping hijackers Khalid al-Mihdar and Nawaf al-Hazmi. Jon talked about the importance of this particular lawsuit and the continued emotional trauma this has had on the victims and families of 9/11.

Later we discussed the recent FOIA release of the so-called Dancing Israelis which included photocopies of a handful of the infamous photographs taken on 9/11. Jon and I talked about Urban Moving Systems and emphasis that the 9/11 Truth community puts on this particular story.

In the second hour, we continued this conversation along with researcher Adam Fitzgerald. We explored Urban Moving Systems further, talking about their possible connections to some of the hijackers. The three of us also touched on the hijackings themselves and the discrepancies and anomalies that took place that day. We also touched on how films like United 93 have colored our understanding of the event itself. We closed out the conversation by talking about the importance of 9/11 in the current geopolitical landscape, and how it goes a long way to explaining the situation we find ourselves in today.

The Ochelli Effect – Iranian Chinese Water Torture

From Ochelli.com

In the first hour, the Author of The War State Mike Swanson discusses with Chuck the latest wave of tariffs in Trump Trade War with China. Mike also breaks down some basic ways to understand manufacturing paradigms as they emerge. Michael also covered the recent losses in the Dow and talks about some of what he is publishing lately.

Is the economy booming for you? Has Kim Jung Un actually punked Trump? As the war on terror continues to terrorize, are you feeling good about Iran becoming Iraq 2.0 in the propaganda paradigm? What criminal will Trump be told to pardon next to cultivate support from the rest of the scum of the earth? Why do farmers committing suicide to think that’s a better option than detaching themselves from the Trump Train?

Pearse Redmond covered the recent events in one gulf that remind us of other times political posturing was and catastrophic events had something to do with a Gulf. Iran is not Iraq. Other topics included Porkins Policy Radio and the seemingly dangerous devotion to inciting the end of days by John Bolton and Mike Pompeo. Pearse also explains to listeners how truth is often buried in articles deeply enough that 99% of readers won’t even bother to dig into the contradiction table.

Porkins Policy Radio episode 185 Jenna Orkin on the health effects of the WTC dust and the EPA’s coverup

This week writer and journalist Jenna Orkin joined me to discuss her book Ground Zero Wars: The fight to reveal the lies of the EPA in the wake of 9/11 and clean up Lower Manhattan, and the ongoing health problems caused by the World Trade Center dust. Jenna started off by telling us where she was on 9/11 and how the day unfolded for her. She talked about the fact that her son went to Stuyvesant High School at the time and how this led her to research the health effects of 9/11. We talked about the lack of clean-up at Stuyvesant and the desire to re-open the school one month after the attacks. Jenna and I talked about how this decision mirrored the official government response to the cleanup of Lower Manhattan and the re-opening of places like Wall Street. We then discussed exactly what was in the dust itself, including asbestos, Mercury, lead, and radioactive material. Jenna explained how the EPA used antiquated tests in order to hide the high levels of toxicity in the air. Jenna also talked about the science behind many of the EPA tests and how the logarithmic scale of measurement measures substances like asbestos.

Later we talked about key figures responsible for covering up the environmental disaster. We looked at EPA head Christine Todd-Whitman who repeatedly lied by saying the air was safe to breathe. We also touched on her husband’s ties to Citigroup who benefited from the EPA’s decision to lie about the safety of ground zero. Jenna and I also talked about James Connaughton who headed the White House Council on Environmental Quality, and how he manipulated press releases from the EPA. Jenna also brought up Connaughton’s connection to the law firm Sidney Austin Brown & Wood which had offices in the World Trade Center.

We finished the conversation by talking about the legacy of the EPA. Jenna and I talked about how the EPA has only gotten worse since 9/11. Jenna also spoke about the need for us as citizens to take personal responsibility in the face of traumatic events like 9/11. We touched on the state of the 9/11 research community as well. Jenna finished off the conversation by talking about her work with the late great Michael Ruppert. Chuck and I rounded out the episode by talking about Ruppert’s legacy as well as the work that goes into producing a live radio show.

Porkins Policy Radio episode 182 Call in show on Sudan uprising, 9/11 exploitation, Assange and more

This week I opened up the phone lines and did a call in show. We had friend of the show Jon Gold call in to discuss the recent attacks on Ilhan Omar and the continued exploitation of 9/11 trauma. Jon talked about the recent spate of politicians and media figures invoking 9/11 and the “Never Forget” mantra to score political points. Later Kai called in to talk about the political situation in Sudan. We discussed the recent coup which has removed long time leader Omar al- Bashir, and the grassroots protest movement that fomented this change. Kai and I touched on the lack of overt western interference in Sudan and speculated on what this may mean. We also touched on the politics of water and the importance of the Nile River. Kai also talked about the background role that Israel and the Gulf are playing in Sudan.

Friend of show JG Michael of Parallax Views also called in to discuss Julian Assange and the strange media fascination with the Notre Dame fire. JG and I touched on why we dislike Assange but also fear the repercussions of extraditing him and the threat to journalism that it poses. I rounded out the show by talking with listener Thor in Switzerland. We discussed the role that private finance and corporations are playing in Africa and the negative effect they can have. Thor and I also touched on the concept of micro-financing. I finish the show by answering some listener questions from good friend of the show Curtis.

Porkins Policy Radio episode 181 Robbie Martin on Israeli Art Students, ecstasy trafficking, and Russiagate victory laps

This week good friend Robbie Martin joined me to discuss his latest podcast for Media Roots Radio, Ecstasy, Israeli Art Students, and the Mossad. We talk about the importance of the phenomenon of the so called Israeli art students and why it deserves more attentions. Robbie and I touched on how this story tends to get brushed aside by many in the conspiracy community, in favor of the Dancing Israelis and right wing theories about 9/11. Robbie talks about the history of the Israeli art students and how this spy ring operated inside America during 2000-2001. We discussed the spy rings general tactics of selling art to government employees, either at their places of business or in their homes. Robbie talked about the spy rings intense focus on DEA facilities and employees. We talked about the connections between the art students and the international ecstasy trade which was dominated by Israeli organized crime. We went in depth on the DEA internal report of this topic which also alleged that the activities of the Israeli art students might have been linked to the ecstasy trade. Later Robbie talks about the groups activities in Hollywood, Florida and why several art students lived next door to Mohammed Atta. We discussed the possibility that this was some sort of surveillance operation on Al Qaeda targets. We also touched on the Israeli telecommunications company Amdocs and how they fit into the larger story. Robbie also talked about his interview with Emanuel Sferios of Dance Safe who was also approached by the Israeli art students.

In the second hour we talked a bit more about the history of ecstasy and the international ecstasy trade. We explored Israeli organized crime cornered the market on the pill. We discussed its interesting history as a therapeutic drug, a club drug in Texas, to its eventual arrival in Rave culture. I also touched on the RAVE Act and Joe Biden’s connection to it. Robbie and I also talked about how opaque this story is and why it is so difficult to parse out what was really going on. We finished out the episode by talking about the never-ending story known as Russiagate. Robbie and I called about some of the prominent journalists taking extended victory laps such as Michael Tracy and Matt Taibbi. We talked about our issues with how they are presenting the narrative and ultimately continuing the cycle of distraction and grifting. We finished off by discussing how the right has co-opted the anti war and free speech movements and how it connects to Russiagate.

Porkins Policy Radio 179 New 9/11 warnings unearthed and Russiagate revelations with Jon Gold

This week research Jon Gold joined me to talk about some of recent revelations regarding the 9/11 coverup. We started off with some breaking news out of Guantanamo regarding the trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and others, and alleged recordings of them speaking about the 9/11 attacks months before they happened. Jon and I discussed the significance of these recordings and why they have been hidden from the public and defense lawyers at the military tribunal. Jon talks about some of the possible government agencies who could have made the recordings and the larger issue of a continued coverup. We also touched on the recent reporting out of Sarasota, Florida regarding Prince Turki al Faisal’s connections to the 9/11 attacks. Jon and I shifted gears a bit and talked about the Mueller Report and Russiagate. We discussed the way the media has obsessed over this story. Jon touched on the journalists who have made a name out of Russiagate and yet turn their backs to issues such as 9/11. Later we touched on Israel and the rise of the right wing in the Middle Eastern country. Jon and I talked about Trump’s recent decision to recognize the stolen Golan Heights as well as the recent focus on AIPAC. We finished off by talking about the recent de-funding of the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund. Jon talked about the ongoing health crisis affecting tens of thousands who were exposed to the World Trade Center dust.

Porkins Policy Radio episode 178 Emma Redmond on Vox Lux

This week my sister Emma joined me to discuss Brady Corbet’s latest film Vox Lux, which tells the story of a young girl Celeste surviving a school shooting and becoming a pop star. We started by discussing the film itself and it’s interesting narrative structure. We also touched on some of the flaws in the film. We then moved onto the main plot points and themes in the film. Emma and I discussed the role that pop music plays in our lives and how trauma and tragedy connects to it. We touched on 9/11 which plays a role throughout the film. We talked about the emptiness that personifies a lot of pop music, and the toll that takes on Celeste throughout her life. Emma talked about the “character” that a pop star has to play in public and the absence of a private self. Later we discussed the lack of a message in the movie and why this is actually a good thing. We focused on the need for many audience members to be told exactly what to think when watching a film. We touched on the phenomenon of mass shootings which often times lacks a message or meaning. Emma and I also discussed the idea that this film takes place in an alternate reality where Celeste and the school shooting exists, thus altering the course of music history. We ended by breaking down the final reveal of the film.
