Porkins Policy Radio episode 115 Paranormal Halloween Special with Aaron Franz

Aaron Franz joins us for a special paranormal/occult Halloween special. We start off by discussing our opinions on Halloween as it exists today. We then move onto the ancient Druid and pagan roots of the holiday and the deeper esoteric meaning behind it. Aaron and I discuss how this pagan festival was absorbed into the Christian All Hallows Eve and All Saints Day. We look at how Halloween has become a commercialized holiday predicated on buying candy and other useless products. Aaron and I then move onto how Halloween, holidays, and religion have been changing with the current times. We pay particular attention to the rise of transhumanism and how this may or may not affect religion. Aaron and I discuss the idea of the Catholic Church embracing transhumanism and the AI godhead. We also talk about Saudi Arabia granting “citizenship” to the AI machine Sophia, and Anthony Levandowski’s AI church.

In the second hour Aaron and I dive right into the paranormal and discuss our views on UFO’s and aliens. We touch on why these topics are taboo to many in the conspiracy culture, and the importance of studying and understanding this movement. Aaron and I then move onto ghosts and the spirit world. Aaron also talks about All Souls College in Oxford and its bizarre background and connection to groups such as the Round Table Movement. We finish off by discussing the life and legacy of Manly P Hall. Aaron and I talk about the possibility of Hall being murdered by his caretaker, and the legal battle that ensued afterwards. We also talk about Hall and his wife living in the Ennis House in LA. We finish off by talking about the need for people to embrace the teachings of Manly P Hall, especially in this crazy consumerist world we live in.

Porkins Policy Radio episode 85 The Truth Shall Make You Free with Aaron Franz

Good friend Aaron Franz joins me on the show this week to discuss our recent work in The American Journal of Economics and Sociology. We begin by talking about some of the behind the scenes aspects of the issue. I talk about the whole process of how the issue came into being from the initial offer from Clifford Cobb, getting all the writers together, and dealing with all the road bumps along the way. Aaron and I talk about the actual writing process and the challenges involved in writing for an academic journal. Next we explore Aaron’s piece which deals with secret societies, CIA, occult practices, and the ways in which this is mimicked in Hollywood films. We talk about the similarities between secret societies and the CIA, particularly with their strong reliance on cryptography. Aaron and I discuss the famous Kryptos sculpture outside CIA headquarters and the agencies use of art’s powerful occult properties. We also talk about the bizarre Fallen Angel sculpture in CIA headquarters.

In the second hour we talk about the notion of truth as it now exists today. We begin by talking about the biblical verse “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” which is carved into the lobby wall of the CIA’s Original Headquarters Building. We talk about the significance and deeper meaning behind not only the quote but why CIA Director Allen Dulles insisted that it be inscribed. Later Aaron and I move onto the current environment that we find ourselves in right now. We talk about the way truth has become an almost meaningless notion in today’s political and media landscape and what this means for us as a society. Aaron and I also discuss the hidden truths behind the various statements and missteps of Donald Trump. We talk about the possible occult meanings behind this as well as the notion that a magick spell was cast on America after the election.

Porkins Policy Radio episode 67 Spirit Cooking Election Day Special

Today we have a special Election Day episode of the show. We are joined by good friends Tom Secker and Aaron Franz from Transresister Radio and Themes and Memes to discuss all things presidential. We begin by discussing our general outlook and feelings on the election and the traumatic effects it has had on us. Later we discuss the occult overtones through out this election and voting in general. The three of us touch on the “Spirit Cooking” scandal surrounding John Podesta and how this is yet another example of the mainstreaming of alternative culture. We also break down the idea that this election has actually reinvigorated the public’s admiration for the office of the presidency. We also touch on the idea of the electorate being the archetypal “Willing Fool” in the magik ritual that is voting.

In the second hour Tom and I discuss the documentary film The Perfect Candidate which chronicled the failed senate race of Oliver North. The two of us also explore the recent rape scandal against Donald Trump which has now been dropped by accuser Katie Johnson. We also give our predictions for what lays in store for future presidential elections; including the possible run by Kayne West.

The CIA and Hollywood episode 10 Confessions of a Dangerous Mind

Aaron Franz joins us to discuss the 2002 biopic Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, which tells the story of game show producer and host Chuck Barris. Barris claims that while becoming a TV star he was recruited by and worked for the CIA as an assassin, killing a total of 33 people. In this episode we analyse this claim, which has been dismissed by the Agency as a ludicrous fantasy. We examine Barris’ true life history, focusing in on his marriage to Lyn Levy – the daughter of one of the founders of CBS – and his incredibly selfish relationship with their daughter Della. None of this appears in the film so taking this into account we consider whether Barris was a CIA assassin, a psychopathic fabricator or an emotionally warped narcissist (or all of these things rolled into one). If Barris truly was a CIA agent then what was his job? Was he an assassin, or did they employ him to ‘slay the audience’ by developing the prototypes for reality TV?

Confessions of a Dangerous Mind is also notable for being George Clooney’s directorial debut, and a production that languished in development hell for years before he became involved and began pulling strings to ensure the film got made. We consider whether the movie was one of Clooney’s attempts to gain the attention and approval of the CIA, and whether he too thought that Barris’ TV career was the real mission for the Agency. We examine Clooney’s self-appointed role as Chuck’s ‘defence lawyer’, his obsession with goats and why he employed theatrical visual tricks throughout the production. We round off comparing Confessions of a Dangerous Mind to The Recruit, as both films show The Farm (the CIA’s semi-secret agent training facility) and portray the protagonist being inducted and initiated into that covert world.

The CIA and Hollywood episode 3 The Recruit

Aaron Franz joined in the conversation as we looked at the film The Recruit, which more than any other film we’re covering in this season was moulded by CIA entertainment liaison Chase Brandon.  Like so many films, it tells the story of a young person inducted into a secret world with secret rules and codes of thinking and behaviour, and in doing so inducts the audience into that same world.  We discussed this dynamic from various angles – black operations, secret societies, occult or mystery school philosophies – before studying Brandon’s appearance in the most fascinating ‘making of’ documentary ever made.

Trans Resister Radio ep. 124 Scientology and other Cults

From Age of Transitions:

In this interview Pearse Redmond shares some of his research and thoughts on Scientology and cults in general. What is a destructive cult, and why would anyone join one in the first place? A better question might be: what pseudo-cults have I, myself been involved in, and to what extent? Human nature is ours, but it is also the Garden from which the guru attempts to pick Forbidden Fruit.
