Aaron also plugged Uncle’s annual New Years Revolution live show. We touched on topics as varied as the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and the anime classic Akira, Elon Musk’s diabolical Cyber Truck, Amazon’s plan for world domination, and what’s in store for the futuristic decade of 2020.

We talk about the life and death ritual of buying a Christmas tree. We then move onto the most recent news stories about AI, focusing mostly on Sophia, Ben Goertzel, and SingularityNET. Aaron talks about Goertzel’s role within SingularityNET and his promotion of the BlockChain. We also talk about the strange rise in acceptance of sex robots and how this could be a pernicious development for society as a whole.
