The Ochelli Effect – Diagnosis Fundamental Comprehension Dysphoria

Download episode

From Ochelli.com

Booms, Busts, Bears, Bulls, Babbling Blowback. Gold Rush Provocation Theater?

Mike Swanson started off Tuesday’s Ochelli Effect with a discussion on markets and trends in current circumstances. Chuck answers with his idea about the Baseball Card market in the past. Are all casinos created equal? Is gold and silver the best safe bet? Are there merely gamblers running throughout the financial offers industry in search of their next grand mistake?

Chuck and Mike also discussed oil and how odd the futures and retail markets are behaving. What is the next boom? what is the next bust? Is it all a gold rush? Michael explains a lot of realities to Chuck who is way less educated on the subjects. Are we all supposed to work until we drop dead at our jobs? Whistle while you work for free and hope they’ll give you an underpaid position if you don’t drop dead in the meantime old man.

A fundamental lack of comprehension by those who are in power prevails in more trending circumstances than a populist should suffer.

Pearse Redmond is on break from his show but still doing his regular spot with us. The Iranian blame game is part of the focus on the second hour. Chuck offers speculation and outrage over the latest reality TV shows of diplomatic saber-rattling he observes. There is just too much news to cover. Is it too kind to say Trump suffers from “retardation”?

TYR’s Day is always entertaining and informative (But not always in that order) on The Ochelli Effect. There is a lot of interesting information in these two hours. Enjoy.

Porkins Policy Radio episode 146 Chuck Ochelli on Singapore Summit, Genocide in Yemen, and more

This week Chuck Ochelli joins me to discuss geopolitics and the problems of the world. We start off discussing the recent Singapore Summit between North Korea and the US. Chuck and I both offer our opinions and analysis of the “deal” that is being hammered out by Trump. We talk about the realities of what is actually being presented, and discuss the larger context of what this may mean for the Korean Peninsula.

In the second hour Chuck and I branch off and talk about Jeff Sessions reversal of a court ruling granting asylum to immigrants fleeing domestic violence and violence from non-state actors. We also talk about the genocide in Yemen, which could see 10 million people starve to death. Chuck and I close out the show by talking about the lack of morality and respect for human life that many here in America seem to have.

The Ochelli Effect – Major General Edward Lansdale

From Ochelli.com

Mike Swanson Author of The War State joins us to revisit Vietnam and examine a recent book by Author Max Boot. Many fallacies about the Vietnam conflict are confronted in the opening discussion. However, the primary focus of the conversation is Ed Landsdale. Major General Edward Lansdale was with the O.S.S., The U.S. Air Force, and the C.I.A. The reality of his career and his legend have both evolved over many decades. Due in part to his alleged involvement in The Assassination of JFK, but also his provable operational work in The Philippians, Operation Mongoose, and the early stages of the Vietnam conflict. He rose to the rank of Major General and was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal in 1963. His death in 1987 did not cause his legend to fade. Max Boot released a book this year which Mike Swanson explains quite a bit about in hour 1. Pearse Redmond continues with the topic of Landsdale in hour 2 relating to his foray into Hollywood films. The Quiet American is a twice made movie that seems to have been influenced and exploited by Landsdale and the C.I.A. Plus we discuss the latest Trumpet madness.

The Ochelli Effect: Fire Fury Fuels Fact Check

From Ochelli.com

This Tuesday night we decode the current mosaic of geopolitical scattershot that is the New World Landscape. The Iran deal is still part of the calculus as Israel continues to justify it’s response to Palestine. Does Trump know what is happening all around him? Mike Swanson talks about the latest version of Neo-cons thoughtless tanks. At the end of the first hour, Chuck and Mike agree that it is tough to prognosticate the many outcomes. Pearse Redmond joins us in hour 2; The conversation seems to continue where it left off before the break. Is The Ochelli Effect good for your mental health? Seems to work for Pearse. What about North Korea? Why is Ollie North the new showrunner at the NRA.? Have we as a nation faced the issue of torture? Fatigue seems to be setting in as people normalize the man of no principles that occupies the White House at the moment. Pre-tense no longer required in the newest abnormal under POTUS Agent Orange.

Porkins Policy Radio episode 125 North Korea Anthrax Propaganda with Robbie Martin

Robbie Martin joins us for an in-depth look into the most recent saber rattling between the US and North Korea. We start off by talking about the general hysterical political rhetoric that we see here in the US. Robbie and I touch on the size of Trump’s nuclear button as an example. Next Robbie and I explore the strange stories that emerged just before the new year talking about North Korea’s anthrax weapon program. Robbie and I talk about the Ashai Shimbun article that kick started the bogus story, as well as the multiple reports of a North Korean defector with anthrax antibodies in his system. Robbie talks about the problems with this narrative and its similarities to the 2001 Anthrax Attacks. We also look into the science behind these claims and debunk the notion that you can even house anthrax in an ICBM. Later Robbie and I talk about the anti-war movements continued decay, and the lack of voices speaking out against the threat of war in North Korea. Robbie talks about the difficulties in defending the North Korean people. We talk about the ways in which they have become so demonized that most average people could care less if they were murdered by the US military.

In the second hour Robbie discusses his work looking into the 2001 Anthrax Attacks. We discuss how they have fallen off as a topic of discussion and research. Robbie talks about the widespread use of Cipro during this time, and the dangers of using antibiotics unless you are truly sick. We also talk about whistleblower Matt DeHart and his connection to the anthrax investigation. Later Robbie and I dive head first into the latest iteration of Pizzagate by looking into “Qanon”. We discuss what the QAnon story is, its origins, and how it is just the latest example of controlled opposition. The two of us explain why this should not be taken seriously, and look into the sad state that the MAGA movement finds themselves in.

Porkins Policy Radio episode 97 The Decline of Leaking: From Chelsea Manning to Reality Winner

Tom Secker and Robbie Martin join me for a very wide ranging discussion on everything from Reality Winner to Dennis Rodman. Tom and I start off the conversation by talking about the Wikileaks Twitter account tweeting about our issue on The American Journal of Economics and Sociology. We talk about the obvious divide right now between Assange and Wikileaks not just in terms of Twitter, but in terms of their media strategy. The three of us then dive into the bizarre case of NSA leaker Reality Winner. We theorize as to whether she is a true leaker, or a truly disgruntled employee. We discuss the possibility that Winner was set up to leak, and if this is really a move by the Trump administration to ward off future potential leakers. Robbie and Tom also touch on the strange behavior of The Intercept and how they mismanaged this entire story and their lack of protection of Reality Winner.

In the second hour we ponder the question as to whether Reality Winner represents a bookend to the celebrity culture of leakers and whistleblowers. We take a close look at Chelsea Manning and her recent media interviews. The three of us talk about the media’s obsession with Manning as a trans celebrity, and the ways in which they have sexualized and fetishized her since her release from prison. We discuss how the media has largely ignored or forgotten the true reasons for why she was imprisoned in the first place: leaking thousands of government documents. We talk about the notion that Bradley Manning and the actions associated with him are now dead and therefore are no longer a topic of discussion among the media. We round out the conversation by talking about Dennis Rodman’s most recent trip to North Korea. We talk about the possibility that Rodman is being used as either a back-channel or some form of intermediary between Kim Jong-Un and US intelligence. Robbie, Tom, and I also touch on the cryptocurrency Potcoin which has sponsored Rodman’s trip to the Hermit Kingdom.

Porkins Policy Radio episode 83 WTC 93 Anniversary and Death of The Blind Sheikh with Tom Secker

Tom Secker joins me for a discussion of the 24th anniversary of World Trade Center Bombing and the recent death Omar Abdel-Rahman aka The Blind Sheikh. We begin by discussing the official theory that the government has presented: that a group of young self radicalized Muslim men bombed the WTC, and had no apparent connection to international terrorism. Tom then breaks down aspects to the official conspiracy theory. We talk about the whole issue of FBI informant Emad Salem and the erroneous allegations that he was allowed to bomb the World Trade Center. Tom explains how this theory has permeated the alternative media and almost become accepted fact. We then begin to explore the other possibility: that this was in fact part of a much larger and complex CIA plot involving many characters that were influential in the Soviet -Afghan War and in the formation of Al Qaeda. Tom talks about the infamous Al-Farooq Mosque in Brooklyn and the role it played as a CIA front for jihadist recruits. Tom explains how all the key players from WTC 93 were intimately connected to the Blind Sheikh and the aforementioned mosque. Tom and I also talk about how WTC 93 is the foundation for the myth and and formation of both Al Qaeda and the War on Terror.

In the second hour Tom and I discuss the latest episode of Homeland and the curious references through out this season to both WTC 93 and the Blind Sheikh. We explore why the CIA would want to bring peoples attention to these incidents. We discuss the notion that this season is all about showing the problems and bad apples within the agency, and the lengths that we must go to in order to stamp them out. Tom proposes that this season enemy is not Islamic-terrorism but the complexities of the world itself and the tough choices that we have to make.

I finish off by briefly talking about the assassination of Kim Jong Nam. I also give an update on when Porkins Great Game will be back.
