This week my guests are Ed Opperman and Brian Heiss. First, we covered the latest development in the #MeToo saga: the allegations that Asia Argento abused actor Jimmy Bennet. We discussed who may have leaked this to the New York Times and why. We also touched on the complexities of sexual abuse, and how many victims go on to victimize. The conversation then shifted to the recent Pennsylvania Attorney General report which investigated rampant sexual abuse in the state’s Catholic Church. We talked about our own experiences growing up Catholic. And the culture of abuse within the church and the disturbing levels to which the clergy covered this up.
In the second hour we took aim at Pope Francis and his record of hypocrisy in the mishandling child sex abuse. We touched on Francis’ protection of Cardinal Pell, his former number three at the Vatican, who is now facing charges of child abuse. I also mentioned that Francis presided over the funeral of disgraced Boston Cardinal Bernard Law. We also explored the culture of abuse within the church and the Vatican. Ed and I also explored whether these pedophile priests are men of God or using the cloth to gain access to vulnerable minors. Finally, we closed out with some breaking news on Michael Cohen and Paul Manafort.
NOTE: I got confused when talking about Yashar Ali. Ali was the person who dug up old pictures of Chelsea Manning hanging out with Jack Posobiec, Cassandra Fairbanks, Lucian Wintrich, and others.
This week I discussed the recent banning of Alex Jones on several tech platforms from two different perspectives. In the first hour Robbie Martin joined me to discuss the negative aspects of this. We talked about the dangers of censorship and what this may mean for the future of alternative media. Then we addressed the latest on the ever evolving Qanon saga. Robbie and I inquired how this may be related to the banning of Jones.
In the second hour Jon Gold joined me to talk about why Alex Jones got what he deserved. We discuss why Apple, Facebook, and other companies were justified in banning Jones from using their platforms. Jon discussed Jones’ history as a 9/11 and conspiracy profiteer, and his recent lawsuit against Sandy Hook victims. We talked about the dangers of social media. Jon and I also touched on patriotism in sports and why we, personally, can’t watch football and baseball anymore.
In the first hour JP Sottile of News Vandal joins me to discuss the latest political machinations in Washington DC. We begin with the latest developments regarding Trump lackey Jared Kushner. JP and I talk about his recent loss of Top Secret security clearance and what this may or may not mean going forward. JP then discusses the latest revelations about Kushner and his ties to both Qatar and the UAE. We talk about the revelation that several countries including China and the UAE saw Kushner as a useful tool in order to get what they wanted out of the United States. We look at the role that Kushner plays within the White House, and his ongoing battle with chief of staff John Kelly. JP and I also touch on the interesting timing of the sanctions against Qatar and his own business deals with the Gulf Nation. Later JP and I explore Trump’s proposed tariff on steal and aluminum imports. We discuss how this ultimately translates into a high tax on the American people who buy Chinese made pots and pans. JP and I talk about how this is yet another attempt to go to war with big bad evil China. We also talk about how everything from cars to the price of beer could dramatically increase. JP also explains how Trump’s proposal will, like most of his policy proposals, never really come to pass the way he wants them.
In the second hour Chuck Ochelli of Ochelli.com joins me for an in-depth discussion of the US military presence in Africa. We start off by discussing a recent report from AFRICOM which stated that there was not proper command approval for the disastrous mission in the Tongo Tongo region of Niger. Chuck and I break down the double speak coming out of AFRICOM. We talk about how AFRICOM is attempting to absolve itself from the deadly raid, while at the same time recommending more and more support for US forces in Africa. Chuck and I also dive into AFRICOM commander Gen. Thomas Waldhauser’s recent testimony before congress on the looming threat of China. We discuss China’s quiet soft colonization, and their quiet construction of military bases in places like Djibouti. We also talk about the growing threat of ISIS and the resurgence of Al Qaeda in West Africa. Chuck and I talk about the recent Al Qaeda attack in Burkina Faso and the theory that the next great conflict may be fought on the African continent. We finish off by touching on China’s plan to build a military base in the Wahkan Corridor in Afghanistan. I talk about China’s fear of political and military insatiably in Northern Afghanistan, and the threat of Uighur groups like ETIM, and how this has led them to take further steps militarily.
Tom Secker and I finish off our trilogy of episodes discussing House of Cards. This month we look at the last season The Final Cut. We discuss Francis’ long political career as it begins it’s twilight phase. Tom and I talk at length about the Cyprus story-line which introduces foreign policy to the show for the first time. We touch on FU’s complete lack of expertise in this realm and how it contributes to his ultimate demise. Tom and I also discuss whether Urquhart’s experiences as a young man in Cyprus made him into the psychopathic individual he is as Prime Minister. Later we explore the characters of Claire Carlsen and Tom Makepeace, as well as our favorite new character Jeffrey Booza-Pitt.
Tom and I also focus on the complex relationship between Francis, Elizabeth, and the security state. We talk about Elizabeth and Corder’s master plan which comes to fruition in the last episode, and how yet again the show accurately portrays the security state as the real center of power in British politics. Tom and and I also touch on two real world events that mimic House of Cards: the assassination of Daphne Caruana Galizia, and Paul Manafort laundering money in the Bank of Cyprus. And of course Tom and return to our ongoing question: is it all about sex?
Quick Note: I apologize for the coughing and sniffling. I was still sick at the time of the recording.
On today’s show we discuss the ongoing expose of sexual abuse and violence in Hollywood. In the first hour Robbie Martin joins me. We explore how the scandal unfolding in Hollywood is indicative of a larger problem with sexual violence all through out society. Robbie talks about the larger implications of this, and how a serious societal shift may be in the making. We then look at Hollywood itself and discuss how they will survive the mounting allegations. Later we talk about the politicization of this, and how many on the alt-right are exploiting this crisis for political points. Robbie touches on several high profile figures in the alt-right who have their own sexual assault or rape allegations against them. We look at how they fit into this, and the role they are playing in manipulating the situation. I also talk about my own experience of sexual harassment and why many people don’t come forward. Robbie finishes off by talking about Kink.com and the rape allegations against porn star James Deen.
In the second hour we continue the conversation with Ed Opperman. We talk about Corey Feldman and his most recent promise to name names. Ed and I look at some of the serious problems with Feldman including his close relationship with Michael Jackson. We also touch on the serious allegations against magician David Copperfield. Ed and I then move onto Kevin Spacey and Courtney Love and their relationships with Jeffrey Epstein. We talk about Ed’s interview with Spacey’s estranged brother Randall Fowler, and Ed’s interactions with Hank Harrison, the father of Courtney Love. Ed also touches on how these predators can be dealt with legally. Ed and I also discuss Bryan Singer, David Geffen, Digital Entertainment Network, and their connections to pedophilia in Hollywood. We end by talking about Roger Stone and the recent RussiaGate indictments.
First Mike Swanson author of The War State begins this Tuesday show answering a few Wall Street Related Questions. Our attention is then turned to The recent JFK assassination files releases , is there anything actually new? what is the deal with long-time JFK conspiracy theory icon L. Fletcher Prouty? why is Info-Whores claiming the documents reveal info. that is simply not there? We also agree there is no reason to continue with the review series on Ken Burns Vietnam Documentary as it is nearly as pointless as the PBS presentation itself.
Pearse Redmond then joins us to report on and give some insight into New York itself along with the still breaking news of the alleged Terror attack a few hours earlier. Pearse also addresses the news-cycle itself , and tries to break down the rest of what’s going on in the world of the latest Trump and Clinton scandals. with a dash of JFK 2017 file release cross talk.
In the first hour I am joined by JP Sottile of News Vandal for an in-depth conversation on the growing scandal involving Donald Trump Jr. We begin by touching on the latest person to have been in the infamous meeting, Ike Kaveladze, and his connection to a 2000 Congressional investigation into Russian money laundering operations. JP and I go beyond the headlines and try to decipher what this meeting might have actually been about. We offer up a more straight forward narrative that this was a meeting about corruption and payoffs. The two of us discuss the attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya’s links to Russian oligarchs and to a recent money laundering case that was recently settled in her clients favor, and how the specter of Donald Trump loomed in the background. JP and I also look back to the 1990’s and a similar scandal involving the Clinton’s and the Chinese government. Later JP and I discuss the horrifying proposal by Jared Kushner and Steve Bannon have to privatize the war in Afghanistan. JP tells us about the two men who will help lead this charge, Erik Prince of Black Water, and Stephen Feinberg of Cerberus Capital which owns DynCorp. We talk about their nightmare vision for the complete privatization of warfare and nation building. JP discusses how this is actually the natural progression of the American economic and political system, and how Donald Trump is the natural man to usher this in.
In the second hour Robbie Martin joins me as we flesh out some of the topics brought up by JP and myself. We start by taking a step back and looking at how both the mainstream and alternative media have used this recent scandal to their benefit. Robbie and I address the claims made by morons like Cernovich that this is all a deep state operation. We also explore the forgotten story of the seizure of two Russian spy facilities and the expulsion of 35 Russian diplomats (spies) by the Obama administration in December 2016. Robbie and I discuss how this story has been nearly forgotten by the media yet it represents an extremely important moment in both the Obama and Trump presidencies. The two of us talk about how the facilities have yet to be turned back to the Russian’s despite their pleas with Trump. Robbie and I explore how serious an action this is and how Trump has been put into a very difficult spot by all of this. Robbie also gives us the latest updates on the ever evolving neoconservative movement. We discuss the closing down of the neocon think tank The Foreign Policy Initiative and where the movement may be headed.
