Pearse Redmond returns to the show to tell us about Newsbud. Sibel Edmonds and others are trying to start a new large-scale online news source that will be completely funded by individual people, and not big foundations, corporations or government. If and when Newsbud is up and running Pearse will be a senior producer working full time to bring you more of the kind of material that he now creates at Boiling Frogs Post and Porkins Policy Review. Newsbud is now raising start up money via a Kickstarter campaign.

I join Chuck Ochelli once again on The Ochelli Effect. This time around we talked quite a bit about Donald Trump and his presidential campaign. Chuck and I discuss how Trump has managed to weather storms such as his close personal relationship with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, and appeal to the alternative community despite his obvious problems. We also discuss the role that white nationalists have been playing within the Trump presidential run. We are also joined by Sibel Edmonds for an update on the Newsbud Kickstarter.
From underage prostitutes on Orgy Island to political royalty and the “Lolita Express,” the Jeffrey Epstein case continues to unfold. Today Newsbud Team member Pearse Redmond joins us to give us the latest on the ongoing court cases surrounding the case that might still ensnare Epstein and his rich and powerful friends in an even bigger scandal. This is only one of many significant blacked out stories we will be taking on with gusto and integrity. Please do ‘Your’ share: Pledge and help us activate others to make Newsbud a reality.
For this episode we are joined by activist and freelance journalist Eva Bartlett for an in-depth discussion of the war in Syria. Fresh from her fourth trip to the embattled nation, Eva lends us her perspective of what it’s actually like on the ground. Eva recounts the many places she has visited, and the current living conditions of the Syrian people. Eva and I discuss the numerous terrorist groups and gangs operating within Syria, and the disappearance of groups such as the FSA and other “moderate rebel” groups. Eva also offers us an alternative narrative about the Maddaya starvation story that gripped news headlines and then vanished. We discuss the propaganda involved in this story and its similarity to the skewed reporting of the terrorist siege of Yarmouk.
We also touch on the recent doxxing of a UN press official by hipster-propagandist Molly Crabapple, and her laughable claims that the UN is secretly working with the Assad government. Eva talks about the dire situation in the villages of Foua and Kafarya, two areas completely ignored by the United Nations. Later we briefly touch on the role that Israel is playing in the Golan Heights, and in aiding some of the terrorist fighting in Syria. We round off our conversation by talking about the Grand Muffti, Dr. Ahmad Badr Al-Din Hassoun, and the positive role he is playing in Syria.

The day has finally come for your chance to help us create Newsbud–a 100% people-funded news alternative. Our Kickstarter campaign is now live, and we’re counting on your support. For us to realize our collective dream of a major independent, nonpartisan media platform, we need your help. Without you, we cannot build the independent news source that we the people deserve. We can only do that when we are 100% publicly funded, and that means we need you, your voice, and your commitment to our cause. Please make a pledge and help us put the word out.
This month Christoph and I recorded a special Newsbud related episode of PGG. We focus mainly on Turkey’s increased intervention into the Syrian War. We discuss Christoph’s recent article in Boiling Frogs Post analyzing this very issue. We begin with the increased Russian airstrikes and how this has completely changed the course of the war. Christoph and I touch on how this is being interpreted by NATO and the US. We next move on to Turkey’s reliance on Syrian Turkmen militants to fight their proxy battle. Christoph and I update the listeners on the Grey Wolf “Turkmen” leader Alparslan Çelik, and his recent appearance in Turkey for the funeral of a high level MHP official. We also touch on the shift of the MHP towards a more Islamist friendly political stance. Christoph and I also provide our analysis on the recent statements by the FSB that the Grey Wolves may have been working with ISIS to bring down the Russian Airbus of the Sinai Peninsula. Later we talk about an important article former NSA agent John Schindler, in which he attempts to dismiss these claims and the existence of Operation Gladio. We also explore the possibility of a Turkish ground invasion of Syria and the further Pakistanization of the country.
Christoph and I also talk about our participation in Newsbud and how this will further expand the podcast. Christoph and I talk about the new cold war and the good vs. evil media landscape. We also discuss the importance of objective in depth geopolitical reporting. We talk about the launch of our Kickstarter campaign that begins this Sunday February 14th, and why fans of Porkins Great Game should donate.

On this edition of Traces of Reality Radio: Guillermo is joined by Sibel Edmonds, editor and publisher of Boiling Frogs Post, and Pearse Redmond, host of Porkins Policy Radio, to discuss the new media venture Newsbud. Sibel, Pearse, and Guillermo explain what sets Newsbud apart from the rest of the alternative media, and why a 100 percent reader-supported outlet is vitally necessary in today’s media landscape.
Also on the program: the curious case of Michael Scheuer and his marriage to the CIA’s “Queen of Torture” Alfreda Frances Bikowsky, the media’s overall silence on the issue, and why it matters.
Sibel and I had the great pleasure of joining the one and only Chuck Ochelli on The Ochelli Effect to discuss Newsbud and the importance of true independent media. In the first hour it is mainly Sibel talking about Newsbud, the team, and how we will be a different kind of alternative media. In the second hour Chuck and I dive into the geopolitics of Central Asia, the Finicum shooting, Donald Trump and much more.
Monday Feb. 1 2016 Sibel Edmonds and Pearse Redmond discuss journalistic integrity in the post-9/11 reality. Boiling Frogs Post is launching Newsbud and may even include Chuck as it evolves and fires up with the same principles as American Freedom Radio.

How will Newsbud report the news? And what stories will the new outlet cover? What could a fully-funded, independent investigative media outlet do, anyway? Today Sibel Edmonds, Bill Conroy and Guillermo Jimenez join James Corbett for a roundtable discussion on the forthcoming Newsbud site and how it will operate.
*We are asking those of you who support this one-of-a-kind media project to come and join us. Please add yourself, and your voice, to our group list here. They have rendered we the people irrelevant. Together we are going to make them irrelevant!
