Porkins Policy Radio episode 62 OJ Simpson Theories and Lies with Brian Heiss and Ed Opperman

Today we continue our series looking at the 21st anniversary of the OJ Simpson trial with return guests Brian Heiss and Ed Opperman. The three of us explore a wide variety of theories surrounding the case. We begin by looking at some of the false theories put out again and again by the media such as, Jason Simpson or Glenn Rogers as the killer. Next we move onto the issue of Joey Ippolito being behind the murder and his connections to all of the principle and secondary persons involved in the case. Brian explains some of his recent research into OJ friend Donald Soffer his connection to the Bronco chase, and to notorious drug trafficker Joey Ippolito. The three of us discuss what the Bronco chase may have really been about, and how this is still one of the least understood events of the case. Later we explore the role of celebrity culture in creating many of the personalities surrounding the trial. We focus particularly on Faye Resnick’s rise to stardom in the aftermath of the murder of her best friend. The three of us also discuss the role that domestic abuse played in the trial and in the public’s conception of what transpired on June 12 1994. As we round out the discussion we pick a part some of the media’s favorite false facts, such as OJ stopping his arthritis medicine, and how these have made their way into the public’s mind. We also manage to mention Trump and his various connections to OJ Simpson.

Porkins Policy Radio episode 60 Ed Opperman on Hillary health, alt-media problems and more

The one and only Ed Opperman joins us today on a special pre-recorded episode for a wide ranging conversation. We start off with some unavoidable election news: the latest Hillary Clinton health scare. Ed discusses his recent interviews with Dr. Ted Noel and former Secret Service agent Gary Byrne. We explore the role that the Secret Service plays in deep-state events such as JFK, and the Reagan shooting. Ed discusses his PI work which has focused on Secret Service malfeasance. We also discuss a what if scenario, in which Hillary is incapacitated in office and Bill steps in.

In the second hour Ed and I commiserate a bit about the alt-media. We talk about the strains that it can put on your life as well as why it is so necessary in your society. Ed and I both discuss why the alt-media needs to grow up and start doing serious work. Later we talk about the “moral dilemma” that many have over the use of advertisers in alt-media. We also touch on the notion that Russia and other foreign powers may be infiltrating and massaging certain sectors of the alternative movement. We finish off by talking about one of my favorite New York characters, private investigator Bo Deitl.

The Opperman Report – The Writer With No Hands: Pearse Redmond & Tom Secker

Tom Secker and I recently sat down to talk with Ed Opperman all about Matt Alford’s new book The Writer With No Hands.  The book deals with the bizarre “death” of Hollywood screenwriter Gary Devore and his mysterious links to the CIA.  We also talk about the second season of The CIA and Hollywood, and some recent Jeffrey Epstein developments.

The CIA and Hollywood episode 9 Good Night and Good Luck

We welcome Ed Opperman to the series and discuss the 2005 docudrama Good Night, and Good Luck which retells the story of the 1954 confrontation between senator Joe McCarthy and television journalist Ed Murrow of CBS. McCarthy was pursuing Communists within the State Department and other government agencies and innocent people were getting caught in the crossfire, creating a climate of suspicion, mistrust and hostility. Murrow used his prime time series See It Now to attack McCarthy and the culture and mentality of McCarthyism, showing the senator to be a hypocrite who persecuted his targets.

This is the story that is told in Good Night, and Good Luck, a film born out of the creative relationship between George Clooney and Grant Heslov. In this episode we take a sideways look at the historical events and ask why Clooney and Heslov chose to lionise not just Murrow but the whole See it Now/CBS crew. We try to persuade Ed of an alternative interpretation of events, with Murrow not quite being the heroic counter-establishment figure he is in the film and CBS being a rotten media organisation with deep ties to the CIA. We then explore how almost everyone involved in Good Night, and Good Luck had either already made a film with CIA assistance, or went on to do so. We round off talking about Clooney’s bizarre Las Vegas connection, E Michael Burke, George Steinbrenner and (inevitably) Donald Trump.

The Opperman Report: Jeffrey Epstein, O.J. Simpson, and much more

I just had the great pleasure of joining Ed Opperman on the Opperman Report.  We began by discussing the most recent developments with regards to the Jeffrey Epstein case.  I broke down the case as well as the ongoing legal battle between Brad Edwards, Paul Cassell and the government.  I also discuss the recent legal battles that Alan Dershowitz has suffered as he faces an uphill legal fight in his defamation suit.  Ed and I also talk about some of the recent releases’ of depositions in the Epstein case and what they say about Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Dershowitz and the over all scale and scope of this pedophile ring.  Ed and I also talk about our disdain for Donald Trump and his former political strategist Roger Stone.

Later Ed and I discuss the OJ Simpson case and some of our theories on it.  We talk about the possibility of cocaine trafficking as a motive for the murder, and the numerous Scientology connections to the case.

In the after show we are joined by listener Joshua Brookshire and discuss a variety of topics.  I discuss the CIA and Hollywood podcast series,  DOD and CIA FOIA documents, money laundering in Hollywood, Central Asian geopolitics, Bowe Berghdal and much more.

Porkins Policy Radio episode 36 Ed Opperman on Jeffery Epstein case

In this episode, we are joined by private investigator and host of The Opperman Report,  Ed Opperman.  Ed and I explore the mysterious case of billionaire pedophile Jeffery Epstein.  We discuss the basics of the case: how the investigation was started down in Palm Beach, how Epstein evaded serious jail time and charges, and the way in which the media has portrayed his brave victims.   Ed examines the strange background of Epstein.  He explains how this poor kid from Coney Island was somehow able to rise to opulent wealth and power.  Focusing on Epstein’s connections, from Bear Stearns to ponzi-schemer Steven Hoffenberg, Ed breaks down his meteoric rise to protected pedophile and blackmailer of the elite.  Ed and I also analyze the reality of the ongoing civil lawsuit against Epstein, and how the victims in this lawsuit are actually winning!  Later we discuss the various movers and shakers that remain in Epstein’s orbit, including Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Alan Dershowitz, Chris Tucker, Jean Luc-Brunel, Ghislaine Maxwell and many more.

We then consider how the Epstein case fits into the larger narrative of pedophile rings and professional blackmail.  Ed and I take a look at the Franklin Cover-Up and Henry Vinson’s case as earlier examples.  We end by reviewing how the alternative media has covered the Epstein case, and how it has really dropped the ball in its investigation.  We point out the serious lack of respect and dignity given to victims such as Virginia Roberts, who has been shamed and attacked by the alt-media in much the same way that the mainstream media has, and how these sorts of cases are covered in an exploitative way, designed to titillate, rather than in a mature, investigative way.

This is a long episode with a lot of detail on a case that both us feel very strongly about — a case that has not received the scrutiny it deserves form the media in general.  I strongly encourage listeners to go through the documents linked in the show notes and explore this case for yourselves.
