Porkins Policy Radio episode 109 Stephen Singular Talked to Death: The Murder of Alan Berg

Stephen Singular joins me today to discuss his first book Talked to Death: The Murder of Alan Berg. We begin by talking about controversial radio host Alan Berg. Stephen explains how he went from a Chicago based lawyer, to one of the most popular radio hosts in the nation. We discuss Berg’s confrontational style of talk radio which covered everything from race, politics, sex, religion, to the love of his Airedale dog. Stephen and I then move onto the far right neo-nazi group The Order, which would assassinate Berg on June 19, 1984. Stephen explains how this tiny group of white nationalists would commit 240 crimes including: counterfeiting over half a million dollars, robbing nearly $4 million from banks and Brinks trucks, and murdering 5 individuals. Stephen and I discuss how The Order grew out of Richard Butler’s Aryan Nations group. We talk about the Christian Identity movement and the impact they had on nearly everyone in the Order. Stephen and I also explore how the The Order’s inability to keep up with the changes of the 1980’s had a huge impact on their reactionary politics. We talk about how The Order’s founder Bob Mathews was able to channel this rage into the group.

In the second hour Stephen and I talk about our current state of affairs and the legacy that The Order and the white power movement is still having. Stephen discusses the trajectory of the movement from The Order to Mark Fuhrman, and lastly to Donald Trump. We also look at Charlottesville and role that mental health can play in these Troyes of violent attacks.

Later I talk about how Alan Berg’s legacy has continued to make an impact on me. I talk about the importance and beauty of talk radio as well. I also explore the legacy of The Order and how the governments response to them has been a prototype for another right groups. I look at Ruby Ridge, Waco, as well as the fire bombing of far left group MOVE. I also update the listeners on the imminent return of Porkins Great Game, Patreon Bonus podcasts, and a possible sponsor of the show.

Porkins Policy Radio episode 106 Post Charlottesville with Chuck Ochelli

Chuck Ochelli joins me to discuss the aftermath of the violence in Charlottesville and the rise of right wing racist groups. We begin by breaking down the initial protest over the taking down of a statue Robert E Lee. Chuck and I offer up our thoughts not only on America’s new found love of statues from the 1950’s but the make up of this crowd of alt-right protesters. Next Chuck and I explore the racist and racialist history of America and its deep roots in our society. Chuck explains the difference and how racialism has infected most of the population. We talk about the casual racism that persists in America and how it has morphed into the extreme forms that we are seeing at the moment.

In the second hour we discuss self proclaimed white nationalist Chris Cantwell and his bizarre saga which ended with him crying on YouTube. I talk about his strange trajectory from sweaty, unfunny libertarian “stand-up”, to neo-nazi skinhead “activist”. Chuck and I explore how a man as insignificant as Cantwell gravitates to a racist ideology. We then touch on how the alt-media has slowly been infiltrated and co-opted by these right-wing fascist groups. We also look back historically to the 1990’s when the FBI and other groups began infiltrating and radicalizing the Patriot and Militia movements. Chuck and I debate whether the government may be preparing us for another major act of right-wing domestic terrorism by looking at the bizarre case of Jerry Drake Varnell in Oklahoma City. I also touch on Johnny Bangerter, his history as a spokesperson for the White Power Movement, and the efforts by the government to involve him in the OKC Bombing. Chuck and I try to end on a positive note by offering up our own thoughts on how to combat this problem and grow as a nation.

Porkins Policy Radio episode 61 21 years later: The Legacy of the OJ Simpson with Stephen Singular

Today we kick-start our series of shows focusing on the 21st anniversary of the OJ trial by talking with frequent guest Stephen Singular. Stephen and I begin by discussing his experiences working on the trial. We then move on to the impact that this has had on society at large. We discuss the impact that the media has had on conditioning us to have a particular emotional response to the OJ Simpson trial and it’s outcome. Stephen explains his theories as to why so many Americans are willing to disregard the truth of the murder, even when the evidence is right there in front of them, for the security of believing that OJ is guilty. We explore the impact the case has had 21 years after the fact on the psyche of the American public and their views on racial discrimination by police. We explore how the media has conditioned us to only want the same tired old theories repeated to us over and over again. Stephen also discusses how we can begin to grow as a nation by understanding the reality of what went on on June 13th 1994. We place particular emphasis on how we as a nation respond to racial discrimination by law enforcement and the criminal justice system. As always Stephen emphasizes the importance of questioning the reality we are being fed, and striving to understand what the truth is.

In the final half hour I discuss some of my own feelings about the impact the case has had on America. I talk about the ways in which the murder and trial have normalized our views on police violence and law enforcement. I explain how the system has only gotten worse and more oppressive since the trial ended. I attempt to illustrate how the political reactions that we see, from the presidential candidates to Black Lives Matter, are all symptoms of the OJ Simpson case.

This is the first of several episodes exploring the impact of the case and possibilities for solving it. Let me know if you have any questions you would like answered in future episodes.

Porkins Policy Radio episode 53 Brian Heiss on OJ Simpson: Veritas The Fuhrman Tapes

Today I spoke with researcher Brian Heiss about his work looking into the OJ Simpson trial. We discuss Brian’s excellent film OJ Veritas: The Furhman Tapes, and the impact and role that Fuhrman played during the trial. Brian and I also discuss his comprehensive timeline of the murder, which plainly show how OJ could not have murdered Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman. We also discuss some of our general theories on the case. We will be talking again with Brian soon to expand on these ideas.

Porkins Policy Radio ep. 49 Conspiracy of Misperception: Stephen Singular on the OJ Trial

Today we are joined once again by our friend Stephen Singular to dive deeper into the OJ Simpson case.  We begin by taking a closer look at Mark Fuhrman’s timeline in relation to his “discovery” of the infamous gloves.  Stephen discusses a key piece of the puzzle: Fuhrman’s multiple trips to OJ’s Rockingham property on the night of the murders.  We discuss how this was confirmed by Rosa Lopez’s testimony, but like so many key pieces of evidence, has been long forgotten.

Next we explore some revealing statements from Fuhrman such as his admission of seeing two gloves at the murder scene.  Stephen discusses how the case essentially ended when Mark Fuhrman “found” the gloves.  This stopped the LAPD from doing an actual investigation into what happened on June 12, 1994.

Next we move onto to the disappearing, reappearing blood evidence.  Stephen and I look at when the blood was actually discovered inside OJ’s Bronco.  We discuss how Fuhrman and others claim to have seen blood inside the Bronco, which prompted them to hop OJ’s fence without a warrant, and yet how several days later LAPD’s Kelly Muldorfer found that there was no blood inside the Bronco.

We again talk about Det. Vannatter carrying around not only OJ’s blood, but also that of Nicole and Ronald, for several hours. We also dive deeper into the question of how this all was orchestrated, focusing less on the possibility of a grand conspiracy and more on the possibility of several key people making a serious of devastating choices.

We round out the conversation by considering what the motive of this crime may truly have been.  Stephen outlines how a real investigation would have uncovered the deep connections this case had to organized crime and drug trafficking.  He also discusses how this case demonstrates the ease with which we can be manipulated as a society. And we touch on how this case set us up for many of the lies that we were later fed in the aftermath of events such as 9/11 and the Iraq War.  Stephen also dissects how the rise of TV news and opinion talking heads has turned us into a society that no longer cares about truth and reality.

Update From Stephen Singular: “Because of the wide interest in the O.J. Simpson case generated by the FX series on the murders, we’ve had numerous requests to publish Stephen’s 1996 Legacy of Deception: An Investigation of Mark Fuhrman and Racism in the LAPD as an e-book. We are currently re-formatting it for this purpose and it should be available for purchase through this website within the next few weeks. The updated version will contain new information about important developments that followed the original publication of the book. Please go to Books on this site for more information about Legacy of Deception.”

Porkins Policy Radio ep. 47 Legacy of Deception: Stephen Singular on the OJ Simpson murder trial

Today we are joined by writer and investigative journalist Stephen Singular for the first of several podcasts discussing the OJ Simpson trial.  In August of 1994 Stephen was contacted by a source within the LA legal system who gave him several important pieces of evidence pointing to O.J.’s innocence and demonstrating major police corruption and malfeasance. For a time Stephen even worked with the “Dream Team,”  leading them to look into blood tampering, ETDA presence in the blood, movement of evidence, and a close relationship between Nicole Brown Simpson and Detective Mark Fuhrman.

As a result of his previous work looking into Neo-Nazis and white supremacists, Stephen also uncovered Mark Furhman’s dark history as a violent racist psychopath.  We discuss the infamous Fuhrman tapes, as well as the LAPD’s internal investigation of Fuhrman, which confirmed what Singular had been told regarding Fuhrman’s Neo-Nazi ideology and his relationship with Nicole Brown Simpson.

Stephen presents us with a narrative of the OJ Simpson trial that we otherwise never get to hear. By honestly examining the evidence, it becomes clear that there is much more  to the “Trial of the Century”  than meets the eye.  We touch on why this trial is still important, and how its impact is still felt in America today. I strongly encourage everyone who thinks he or she knows this case to listen in with an open mind.

The Bridge with Kira featuring Pearse Redmond and Tom Secker

On Saturday, February 21, Tom Secker and I had the great pleasure of joining Kira Young on her live radio show The Bridge.  We started out with a discussion of the recent surge of neo-nazism within the alt-community and what this means for alternative media.  Later on, we explored the fascination the Left has with Vladim Putin and all things Russian.  We then moved on to the subject of cults and their connections with the intelligence services.  I went into some detail regarding Scientology and various cultic connections to the CIA.  In particular, I discussed psychic research being conducted by the CIA at Stanford Research Institute, headed by two high-ranking Scientologists, Harold Puthoff and Ingo Swann.  I related how the CIA was funding this research while the FBI was deeply involved in infiltrating and arresting high-ranking members of the cult.  Later, we explored the LSD movement and the CIA orchestration behind it, as well as the interesting Scientologists who were part of that movement.  We rounded off the conversation by looking at the current drug culture within the alt-movement.  All three of us gave our thoughts on the popularity of  DMT and ayahuasca, and how the promotion of these power psychoactive drugs may be part of a much wider plan to derail the alternative community.  We also reflected on how cannabis culture has changed from a movement promoting personal freedom into a cult of getting stoned all the time.  Finally Tom and I talked about our new podcast series The CIA and Hollywood, and what to expect from it.

Porkins Great Game ep. 4 Start of the Third Chechen War

In our first episode of 2015, Christoph and I look at the most recent attack in the Chechen capital of Grozny.  We focus on who may have been behind the hours-long gun battle that left nearly 30 people dead.  First we consider the support that neo-nazis in the Ukrainian  parliament have been lending to the Chechen militants, both in rhetoric and possibly in material support as well.  We also speak about the recent capture of a high-ranking Chechen terrorist trying to enter into Crimea from Ukraine.  We then move on to the role that Turkey is playing in protecting and using Chechen’s in Gladio B operations.  Christoph breaks down his recent article in Boiling Frogs Post which details several interesting Gladio operatives discovered in Turkey in recent months and years.  We talk about the recent capture of Ayman Al Zawahiri’s man in Libya, Abd al-Baset Azzouz, while he was staying in a resort town in Turkey.  Christoph explains Azzouz’s connections with the recently deceased Abu Anas Al-Liby, and how Azzouz worked for NATO during the overthrow of Gaddafi.  Christoph also examines the assassination of prominent Chechen Medet Onlu, and how this may have been the work of the Turkish government in an attempt to silence a critic of the “Jihadist highway to Syria” .  We end this segment by discussing a recent article by Brookings president Strobe Talbott, in which he predicts that 2015 will be the start of the Third Chechen War, and how a “prediction” by a deep-state actor like Tablott is really an announcement.
Our second story focuses on the demise of the much-lauded Russian-led natural gas pipeline known as South Stream.  We discuss how US and EU pressure on Eastern European nations led Russia to cancel construction of the pipeline into Europe, and to declare instead  that it will rote this gas to Turkey.  Christoph and I discuss how Turkey is gradually positioning itself to be a major energy broker in the world, and what this may mean, geo-politically speaking.
For our last story we move to Tajikistan and its security problem along the porous border they share with Afghanistan.  We discuss the recent kidnappings of Tajik border guards by the Taliban,  and how they underscore the massive security problem in Afghanistan.  Christoph explains why Tajikistan represents a more serious problem than neighboring Turkmenistan, and examines the Russian and Chinese responses to it.  Christoph also talks about plans to create a “Greater Badakhstan” out of Tajik and Afghan territory right on China’s border.
We finish of the episode by taking a look at the start of the Boston Bombing trial.  We discuss the Tsarnaev family’s connections to the CIA, and how this trial may be part of a much larger narrative that has yet to play out.  Christoph and I also share our predictions for possible developments in Central Asia and the Caucasus region in 2015.
