Robbie Martin brings Pearse Redmond onto the show to discuss the shocking announcement from house speaker Nancy Pelosi that they are officially opening an impeachment inquiry into President Trump over a situation involving allegations of a quid pro quo phone-call exchange between him and the Ukrainian president.
This week Robbie Martin joined me for the first installment in our new monthly series which looks at the Qanon conspiracy theory and its impact on society at large. We started by discussing the fact that Q has not posted anything since August 1st (due to the 8chan’s removal). Robbie talked about how the Qanon community has handled the absence of “Q drops.” This has mainly taken the form of Q followers believing that Trump’s tweets are now coded messages from Q. We then looked at how Trump himself has become an active participant in the conspiracy theory. Robbie talked about how unprecedented it is to have a sitting president seeding a conspiracy theory, and simultaneously being viewed as the hero in the narrative. Robbie also discussed the historical roots of the Qanon theory and its connections to PizzaGate. He talked about how Qanon evolved out of PizzaGate and the possible role that people like Erik Prince and Steve Pieczenik have played in promoting it. We finished off by looking at how the Qanon theory has influenced the public’s understanding of the recent scandal involving Trump, Biden, and Ukraine.
In the second hour I open the phone lines. Jon Gold called in and gave us an update on the ongoing 9/11 lawsuit against Saudi Arabia. We talked about Barr’s decision to release the name of the high ranking Saudi official who was overseeing the two San Diego hijackers. Later, I talked about the allegations that Iran was behind the recent attack on two Saudi oil facilities. I laid out my reasons for why the US was so quick to shift blame away from the Houthis. I also explored the idea that Iran was behind the attack.
Regular Joe stands in for Michael Swanson. So we did another Regular Guy News Hour. Harry Potter, Playboy, and the Chosen savior of the ignorant are all covered in the first hour.

Violence as a reality along with racism as a thing is never addressed with any honesty and we wonder why they continue to hinder the general population’s progress. The MSM is awful and Conspiracy culture is past the level of toxic every time something bleeds and leads the game of headlines.

Are all casinos created equal? Is gold and silver the best safe bet? Are there merely gamblers running throughout the financial offers industry in search of their next grand mistake?
Chuck and Mike also discussed oil and how odd the futures and retail markets are behaving. What is the next boom? what is the next bust? Is it all a gold rush? Michael explains a lot of realities to Chuck who is way less educated on the subjects. Are we all supposed to work until we drop dead at our jobs? Whistle while you work for free and hope they’ll give you an underpaid position if you don’t drop dead in the meantime old man.
A fundamental lack of comprehension by those who are in power prevails in more trending circumstances than a populist should suffer.
Pearse Redmond is on break from his show but still doing his regular spot with us. The Iranian blame game is part of the focus on the second hour. Chuck offers speculation and outrage over the latest reality TV shows of diplomatic saber-rattling he observes. There is just too much news to cover. This week I am joined once again my good friend Lizzy to discuss her work in Palestine. Lizzy began by talking about her own personal journey which has led her to live and work full time in Ramallah. We discussed her work with Al Kamandjati, a non-profit which offers world-class music lessons for Palestinian children. We talked about the mission of Al Kamandjati and its founder Ramzi Aburedwan. Lizzy talked about Aburedwan’s life growing up in the Al Amari refugee camp and how this led him to create the organization. Lizzy touched on the day to day struggles that Palestinians face including night raids, checkpoints, and violence at the hands of the IDF. She talked about her own personal experiences dealing with this trauma. Lizzy and I talked about several people she knew who were murdered by the IDF and the psychological toll on the families involved. Later we discussed ways for people to get involved. Lizzy talked about the need for people to simply educate themselves about the reality of the situation. We also talked about simple ways for people to organize here in the US. Later we touched on the complacency and apathy in the US when it comes to the plight of the Palestinians, and how we can overcome this.
In the second hour, I change gears and talked about the recent news that international fixer, Trump transition team member, and convicted pedophile, George Nader, was arrested in JFK Airport for possession of child pornography. I talk about the roots of this case which stemmed from his 2018 arrest in Dulles Airport. I touched on his cooperation with Robert Mueller and the strange way he was “let go” and allowed to return to the UAE. I discussed some of the truly heinous charges against Nader. I also talked about what this may mean in the larger context of Trump World.
